In May we had workshops with the children from 1st-7th grade as part of the Creative Week at Terråk School.
This workshop was also part of Nordic Peacepainting 2024, a project created by Bodø 2024 and Peacepainting. In this project, workshops will be held in various places in northern Norway and the entire Nordic region. The project culminates in 2024 when the city of Bodø will become the European Capital of Culture, hence Bodø 2024.
The workshops are created to strengthen peaceful coexistence across geographical areas and cultures. Respect is the key word, to look again - as it’s reflected in the word “re-spect”. Re-specting is a good habit for learning and understanding the existence we all share on this planet.

A Lava Monster
Who almost died due to the explosion, he had to run.
Then he met Slenderman and then he got strength again and a lot of heat and then he became much stronger than before. Almost as if he was born again and he began to live in the forest.
He went to another forest, but knew where his home forest was. The stomach was a cave.
When he slept, the lava went out and the mouth was open, and when people went into his mouth they thought they were going into a cave. His teeth they thought were stones.
He woke up, got up and swallowed everything.
He swallowed nature, people and everything.
Then he went to the city and ate them too.
The more he ate, the bigger he got.
