The ancient craft of building traditional wooden boats is in danger of extinction in Bindal. Therefore, Éspace des Arts and Peacepainting wanted to include this in our activities. Artist and boat builder Salah ben Amor was invited to Bindal.

Together with the art center Éspace des Arts in Sfax, Tunisia, we share the vision and work towards the goal of equality.

A group of 17 people from Bindal, Norway visited Éspace des Arts in Sfax, Tunisia. Good relations were made here also – solidarity through the wordless language is difficult to describe. Supported by The Norwegian Consulate, three paintings: one from Russia, one from Norway and one from Tunisia will be handed over to the newly elected president.

To initiate our cooperation, we invited our Tunisian partners in “Éspace des Arts” in Sfax, Tunisia, to visit Norway. We invited them to our little village in Norway where we have our headquarters.
