Opening of a New Peacepainting Exhibition in the Non-schengen Terminal, Oslo Airport

We are happy to announce that we have now opened a new Peacepainting exhibition at Oslo Airport.

The exhibition can be found in the arrival- and departure Terminal for Non-Schengen countries. To meet the growth in travel outside the Schengen area, Avinor has recently expanded this terminal, resulting in a new extension of 30,000 square meters. This doubled the passenger areas and the Peacepainting Exhibition is part of what is available to passengers in the terminal. A large space has been dedicated to the exhibition, and offers a unique experience that has been carefully crafted to stimulate a perspective of universality, equality and non-discrimination.

Partnership between Peacepainting and Avinor

Avinor, the state-owned company that operates most of the civil airports in Norway, has been an important collaboration partner for Peacepainting, helping to lift the voices of children and adults through exhibitions. Over the years, we have had many exhibitions at their airports, for example the Helicopter Terminal in Brønnøysund.

Having this exhibition in such an international and busy terminal, will significantly help to lift the voices of the participants who created the paintings and the accompanying titles and poems.
