On the 7th and 8th of June 2022, we held Peacepainting workshops in collaboration with Nordkappmuseet and Bodø2024 in Honningsvåg in the North of Norway.
Workshop Day 1, Nordkappmuseet
The first workshop was held in a room overlooking the harbor in Honningsvåg, and the participants were adults from a local support community named Parken. Research on the Peacepainting method has found that the Peacepainting method, among other things, encourages positive social interactions.
The participants’ messages and their paintings can be found in exhibitions at Nordkappmuseet this summer and will also be exhibited during the Nordkapp Festival 2022 from the 7th-11th of September 2022. You can also see paintings with titles below!

Are You For Or Against?
You have to make your own choices in life. You can choose to be a thistle. It's nice to look at, but it stands still. Or you can choose to be sea grass that lies floating in the tide and follows the changes that occur. Who are you?

A New Person
It’s my life until now I've been painting. I have gone here and there. When I was 49, I found out I had ADHD. I was given medicine. Now I can set goals. Now I think before I do anything. Now the children have started to trust me. I do what I want to do, not the things I did before.

Seek Shelter
I find peace when I sit on the shore and look out over the horizon. The depth is scary.
