The Royal Norwegian Ministry of Defence of Norway sponsored Peacepainting and had a year-long exhibition in their management building in Oslo, Norway. During this period we regularly exchanged paintings allowing more people to participate.
The exhibition was opened by Norway’s Defence Minister Grete Faremo. Children who participated were also present and held speeches. Norwegian musician Geir Lystrup had a performance together with a children’s choir.
Paintings were made by participants from Norway, Russia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Germany and Mexico.
