Pictures painted by children in Tunisia and Norway were changed out with pictures painted by children from the Skolt Sami project carried out in Norway – Finland – Russia and a picture from the project in North Korea.

Art and Peace Center for Children and Youth
Peacepainting is well underway with the planning of an art- and peace centre for children and youth in cooperation with other actors. The building is drawn by Bodvar V. Schjelderup.

Youth Exchange between Naryan-Mar, Russia and Bindal, Norway
Sponsored by The Norwegian Barents Secretariat we created a youth exchange to build good relations with our neighbors and expand perspectives across borders. We invited our partners at an agricultural high school in Naryan-Mar, Russia to come to Bindal, Norway.

We conducted workshops in collaboration with Youth For Understanding, a non profit exchange organization. Over 70 international exchange students tied to the organization participated in the workshop.
Exhibition at Berg School, Norway
40 paintings decorate the walls. Some are from other countries such as Tunisia, Sri Lanka and Russia.
The rest have they made themselves at workshops through the organisation B.A.R.N.
The project is in cooperation with Sømna Culture School.
