On Tuesday, September 19th, we continued our series of workshops in collaboration with Fellesverket, Red Cross, this time at Fellesverket Sentrum in Oslo. The event was held by our Peacepainting instructors: Catrine Gangstø, Brynjar J. Gangstø, and Kaja Beyer. The workshop was designed as a drop-in event, welcoming young individuals from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, allowing them to join at their convenience. We transformed a corner of Fellesverket Sentrum into a warm and inviting art space.
This workshop, like the one in Sandvika, was a success, attracting a remarkable number of eager participants who actively engaged in the creative process. The atmosphere was charged with positivity, the enthusiasm and energy of the participants were truly inspiring, motivating us to continue our mission of fostering creativity and connection among the youth.
About Fellesverket Sentrum, Oslo
Fellesverket Sentrum, like its Sandvika counterpart, plays a pivotal role in providing a safe and creative haven for young people in Oslo. It serves as a central gathering place where youth can freely express themselves and engage in various activities, contributing to their personal growth and development.
The Peacepainting workshop at Fellesverket Sentrum in Oslo was a reflection of the city's diverse and inclusive spirit. Young people from various backgrounds came together, transcending cultural boundaries through art. Just like in Sandvika, participants formed bonds, shared experiences, and collectively celebrated the art pieces they created.
We look forward to the next Peacepainting workshops taking place at various Fellesverket institutions throughout the country. Stay tuned for more updates!
