This initiative was created after our original exchange project with Ekaterinburg was canceled due to Covid-19. Now the participants from Norway and Russia send paintings and Christmas presents to each other in the mail. Once each school receives them, they will create exhibitions in their classrooms. Together with other countries, the exchanged paintings will be exhibited in Ekaterinburg in 2021 in cooperation with UNESCO.

Peacepainting took part in The Global Humanitarian Aid Event in Brussels - AidEx 2017. AidEx encompasses a conference, exhibition, meeting areas, awards and workshops, and welcomes over 2,500 people each year from UN Agencies, the EU, Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, local an d international NGOs, governments and the private sector.
Peacepainting in Ethiopia - Addis Ababa
Norway – Ethiopia-summit paves way for increased cooperation and development, Ethiopian and Norwegian business leaders met on the occasion of an official visit to Addis Ababa by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit. Peacepainting was one of the organizations that took part in the humanitarian sector of the summit. Peacepainting had the chance to visit the Zoma Contemporary Arts Center (ZCAC), an environmentally conscious art center organizing international art exchanges and focusing on sustainable, innovative, and environmentally conscious art projects. ZCAC is constructed and co-directed by the anthropologist, curator, and writer Meskerem Assegued and the multi-disciplinary artist Elias Sime. Peacepainting met with both Meskerem Assegued and Elias Sime, and discussed the development of future projects with hard of hearing children.
