In January, four people from Portugal visited Bindal. They visited Bindalseidet school, Terråk school and Bindal nursing home. They also saw how Peacepainting organizes a small painting workshop.
Carlos Reis, Catarina Rodrigues, Luciana Nelas and Raquel Batista come from the town of Alverca do Ribatejo with 31,000 inhabitants, 15 km south of the capital Lisbon, in the southern part of Portugal. They work in the institution Casa San Pedro de Alverca (Agrupamento de Escolas do Bom Sucesso) which runs a nursing home and nursing home, a kindergarten and three schools, and activities for children and young people with special needs. Their journey is financed by funds from the EEA.
Catrine Gangstø and Lill-Anita Svendsen travel to Portugal in February to hold a painting workshop.
